New Member Tea
Our annual New Member Tea was held on Saturday afternoon March 15, 2008, at the Special Teas Tea Room, in the Olde Ridge Village Shoppes in Chadds Ford, Pa.
9 current BVQ members and 5 of our new members dined on an assortment of tea, sandwiches, scones, pastries and chocolates in the Garden Room. (scroll down to view pictures)
After the tea, members attended a mini demo on coasters at QUILTERS CORNER Quilt Shop. BVQ members received a complimentary coaster kit!!! Thank you to Jodi Beitzel for making the arrangements with the quilt shop.
What a great way to celebrate National Quilting Day!

4th Annual Retreat
A good time was had by BVQ members other quilting friends who attended BVQ’s 4rd annual retreat on the weekend of April 18 - 20, 2008. Once again this year, we enjoyed sewing, fun, food, laughs and friendship at the Black Rock Retreat Center in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.
