2010-2011 Block of the Month -- Mystery Quilt!
March, 2011 - Block 8 of 12

This year's Block of the Month series, presented by Ellen Nobles-Harris, began with the August, 2010 block. The series is similar to last year's BOM, in that each month's block will be the same except for color placement, and again we won't be raffling the blocks - you keep the blocks you make. At the end of the series, Ellen will tell us the name of the block and give us instructions for assembling all 12 blocks into a stunning quilt top.

If you are making the series and haven't made any of the previous blocks, you will want to read through the GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (downloadable here in .pdf format) before beginning the project. (Don't be intimidated by two pages of instructions - cutting instructions are given for a both a 9 " and 12" block size.) Select your fabrics as suggested and cut all your strips at once. The instructions are very detailed, so if you follow them carefully, your blocks will go together quickly and perfectly! (Note: There is no page 3 in this document.)
