Block of the Month -- May, 2010
“Dutchman's Puzzle” (Block 10 of 12)

Block Size -- 12" x 12" finished (12½" x 12½" with seam allowance)

New BOM Ladies Sue Nann and Lee Hickman have a great idea for the Block of the Month for August 2009 - July 2010. Each month we will publish a different variation of the Dutchman's Puzzle block. Each month, make up the block pattern in your choice of fabrics. Bring it to the next Guild meeting - you'll be entered in a drawing for a prize. You get to keep your block and at the end of the year, you'll have enough blocks for a quilt! Download this pdf-format document to read all the details.

NOTE: This month’s block calls for 4 colors including white tone-on-tone. On the picture, IGNORE the lines going through the solid color (red and blue on the picture) rectangles. Those particular sections of the block are simply one rectangle with one different color corner. (The other “corner” is the same fabric as the original rectangle, so there's no use in adding that as a corner!!!)
