Block Size -- 6" finished (6½" with seam allowance)

September Block of the Month -- Attic Window  
Light Blue:
Cut two 2½" squares
Cut two 2 7/8" squares
 
Yellow:
Cut two 2½" squares
Cut one 2 7/8" square
 
White:
Cut one 2½" square
 
Green:
Cut one 2 7/8" square
 
With right sides together, pin one 2 7/8" blue square and one 2 7/8" yellow square together, draw a line down the center from opposite corners, stitch ¼" on both sides of the line and then cut between the stitches.
Do the same for the other 2 7/8" blue square and the 2 7/8" green square.
Continue to piece as shown.

Keep in mind:
Use 100 % cotton fabrics for the block.
Wash the fabrics before cutting the quilt pattern. Do not use fabrics that bleed or run.
Stitch all seams ¼".
Press seams toward the dark fabric unless the pattern dictates otherwise.
