“Citrus Punch”


Block Size -- 8" x 8" finished (8½" x 8½" with seam allowance)

Use prints or solids in light, medium, and dark shades of lemon yellow, lime green or pink grapefruit.

  Fabric: Cut Directions:
A Orange (2) -- 4 7/8" squares
Cut squares in half diagonally
B Lime Green (1) -- 5 1/4" squares
Cut squares in quarters diagonally
C Honeydew (2) -- 2 7/8" squares
Cut squares in half diagonally
D Pink Grapefruit (1) -- 3 3/8" square
September 2006 Block construction   Step 1. Sew C triangles to D center.
Step 2. Sew B triangles to C-D unit.
Step 3. Sew A triangles to B-C-D unit to complete the block.


Keep in mind:
Use 100% cotton fabrics for the block.
Wash the fabrics before cutting the quilt pattern. Do not use fabrics that bleed or run.
Stitch all seams ¼".
Press seams toward the dark fabric unless the pattern dictates otherwise.
