BVQ 2006 Challenge: “Somewhere in Time”

2006 Challenge

Quilt Challenge Chair Bridget Wilson presented a whimsical clock fabric for this year’s Guild challenge. The fabric tied in nicely with our 2006 Show theme, “Somewhere in Time”.

The ten terrific Challenge entries shown below were displayed at the July Guild meeting, which was held in the café at the Brookhaven Municipal Building. Members in attendance voted for their favorites, and the winners were Jody Beitzel, Peg Miller and Ann Tumolo.

Many of the Challenge quilts were displayed at our quilt show. Ribbons were awarded at the show to Jody Beitzel's “Time in a Bottle” (Best Interpretation of Theme and First Place, Little Quilt – Machine Quilted category), and to Irene Butcher's “Timeless Tranquility” (Second Place, Little Quilt - Hand Quilted category).
