Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum
If you have time while you're in Lancaster for the show, be sure to visit the Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum at 37 North Market Street. The museum is home to what many scholars consider to be the finest collection of authentic late 19th-20th century Amish quilts indigenous to this region - the Esprit Collection. Quilts from this collection, along with the exhibit “Family and Friends: Quilts and Their Connections” will be on display during the AQS Quilt Show.

In this new workshop, students will learn a variety of contemporary fiber techniques. Have fun learning the more modern fiber techniques of mixed media constructed surfaces and sculpture as well as soft sculpture with fabric patterns. Students will also learn a basic history of fiber arts and discuss some modern masters. Adults and teenagers are welcome.
